Monday Updates!

Happy May, friends! It's been a long while since I've done an update and I wish I had a better excuse then, Whoops, life is chaos. Apart from health problems (not new), I've been scrambling to plan my youngest's 16th birthday while also getting her ready for taking her driving test (very new, and terrifying). And... that's about all I've got to say regarding the last month.

I've made some new and exciting changes to my book presence though, so I thought it was a good time to drop in and talk about what I've done, what's going on, and what's coming soon in the future.

And since I'm not writing a food blog where each recipe gets a long, childhood memory, let's get right into it.

Big Changes: That might be a bit of an exaggeration. The changes I've got going on is that several of my backlist books have moved out of Kindle Unlimited. Now, I say this with some regret because I'm about a 70/30 reader (70% buy, 30% KU), and the amount I read means that even that 30% is still a significant amount of reading in the program.

Unfortunately, the exclusivity contract with Kindle Unlimited for authors has made things difficult. Piracy can lead to authors losing their entire amazon accounts because Amazon puts the responsibility on authors to prevent piracy (which is impossible), and it also prevents us from being in e-libraries and on other platforms for readers who don't have access to Amazon or KU.

So I've made the decision to move some of my older back catalogue to other platforms, and that does include my website (where you can buy direct epub files from me, and you're free to check that out now). All the links to other platforms are available on each individual book listing in my Wide tab in Books.

With those books going wide, I've also decided to create a couple of omnibuses: one for Magnum Opus, Fortissimo, which does have the previously released short stories, Tremolo and Serenata, as bonus content. And there's also the Love Starts Here collection which you can grab on all platforms, including my website.

And that concludes my "big news" for the week.

Thrilling, I know. :)

As for news and updates, Heavy Hand releases tomorrow which I'm incredibly excited about. Writing Max and Jeremiah was emotionally trying while also being cathartic, and also wanting to throw my computer out the window when those two refused to listen to my plot outline. But ultimately they came together in a way that left me sad to be done, and satisfied with how their happily ever turned out.

And those of you grabbing that book tomorrow, be sure to scroll past The End to grab your bonus scene: Storm Chasing.

The next Irons and Works: Key Largo book is already up on preorder. The date for that will likely update as I'm hoping to get at least one more Key Largo book published this year. I will be taking my time though because I have some exciting stand-alones and a duet in the works, as well as the next Carnal Tower book.

Coming next is Rapture, an age-gap, praise-kink stand alone novel that takes place in the Madly Ever After universe (dark mafia MFMMM). You do not need to read that series to enjoy Rapture. But for being a stand-alone, it sure did spark at least two other "stand alone" because there were side characters who had far too much main character energy. I have gorgeous covers for both of those novels, though, so I can't wait to get started on those.

Sometime later this autumn, I will be introducing the characters of a new Monster Whychoose (MMMM) Romance duet set in a paranormal traveling acrobat troupe: Cirque Animalia. In this duet you'll meet sirens, incubi, shifters, demi-gods, half-demons, nymphs, and more. This is a book I've been playing around with since two-thousand and FOURTEEN!! So I'm really excited to finally put my fingers to the keyboard and make something of it.

But before that happens, you will start seeing snippets of a new stand-alone, age gap, rich man/poor man romance that should be coming mid-summer called Halo. That one is next on my to-write list and you will be seeing teasers of that coming soon.

And if that's not enough for you...then you'll be excited to know that Sammi Cee and I have been making amazing progress in our single-dads trilogy: One Plus Two. Book one is just under halfway finished, and I can't wait to start sharing teasers with you all. Sammi and I have been talking about co-writing together for years, and I'm so excited we could finally make it work.

Lastly, some updates in my former Cherry Creek/On The Market re-releases. I'm currently still slogging away at book three since it's getting almost a total re-write, but the moment I have something solid in my hands, I will start announcing dates for the release of those books. I will be offering random ARC opportunities for them so if you're interested in something like that, please keep an eye out for a sign up link. Best way to keep on top of that is to subscribe to my Newsletter where you get the most up to date information.

Thanks again for sticking with me this far and I hope you enjoy what's coming soon!
