Happy Chanukah to those who celebrate it, and happy almost holidays to everyone nearly to their own winter celebrations!
This weekend, I bought myself a weekly planner for 2023 and I spent the last two days filling it out. It was exciting to give myself allotted writing time, as well as time for self-care and my other hobbies which have fallen to the side a bit in the last couple of months. During my vacation, I spent time with my knitting needles again and made myself a scarf, gloves, and a hat for these ten whole cold days this Florida winter haha!
The family and I also spent some time in Savannah this month and I have to tell you, it was beautiful. We started looking at real estate, I was so charmed! Not that we have time to move right now, but I could see myself writing several books in one of those amazing homes near Forsyth Park!
Now, on to the writing update stuff:
I'm working on Taste of Greed right now, which will be heading to the editor's desk around the first week of January, and then I'll be diving right into Heavy Hand- and I'll be posting some teasers of the new Irons and Works spin-off shop guys soon.
I have also officially completed Nothing To Lose, the serial novel I'd been releasing. The final chapters will be coming out in the next few weeks, starting on December 22nd, so make sure you're Signed Up for my Newsletter to get that. The book is also on preorder for Amazon- and once the chapters have been taken down, it will enroll in Kindle Unlimited.
That book will be heading to final edits and released in February.
December 22nd will also have the release of Misfits, the MMMM prequel to my Madly Ever After trilogy which is starting January 12th. It's a 13k short novella that will release free on ProlificWorks, so make sure you check that out if you like dark mafia, whychoose romance.
2023 will also see the re-release of my secondary Pen Name, Ariel Millar where I will be publishing some of my passion projects. Right now my list has an FF Little Mermaid retelling with the companion novel of Prince Eric and his art tutor. An FF Robin Hood with the MM companion novel with Little John/Will Scarlet.
I will also be releasing an MM, FF, MF, M/NB historical romance series under that same pen name, so keep an eye out for those!
Lastly, in between the Tattoo Shop releases, you're going to see Paper Swans which is the extended novel of the short story I wrote for Heart2Heart Volume 5. Paper Swans is a best friends to lovers, slow burn, sweet pining romance taking place in Brighton UK between an adorably shy colorblind farmer and his Italian bakery-owner bestie. I will post the preorder link as soon as it's ready to go.
